The route changes pace, but the inheritance keeps moving.

I slowed the ride down without changing its inheritance: shared memories, cultural pride and the values a resilient community carries from one generation to the next.

The origin

I bring barrio pride, my Huntington Beach memories and Tangaroa’s ocean presence together in a story about values passed from one generation to the next. The bus-stop kids become lowrider kings, but community, dedication and the route between street and wave remain part of the same inheritance.
