The wandering soul finds that home is a person.
I wrote Adventure Al around his travels, outdoor adventures and generations of family life, but the story ultimately finds his deepest happiness with Norma and the home they built together.
He gets back home to his Norma.
The origin
Al’s story moves through East Coast beginnings, kayaking, fishing, campfires, dancing, Melbourne and Sydney before returning to the person and family at the center of it all. The journey matters, but its lasting point is that adventure and belonging do not compete: the road keeps calling, and home remains Norma.

Feel the Soul
What I want you to feel.
A full life can hold movement and rootedness at the same time. The places visited become part of the story, while love and family give the journey somewhere meaningful to return.
