Los Angeles fits several worlds into a single day.

I continued my affectionate, tongue-in-cheek portrait of Los Angeles—a city where the freeway, beach, mountains, nightlife and neighborhood food all compete for the same day.

The origin

The second L.A. Baby chapter leans into the city’s contradictions: Whittier Boulevard and Venice Beach, Hollywood Hills and freeway traffic, Rodeo Drive and two-in-the-morning chilli fries. It is a playful tour through a place where surf, snow, glamour, food and chaos can all fit into one day.
